"Post-secondary education" is formal education that takes place after high school. In addition to college degrees, post-secondary education includes vocational training, short-term certificate programs, and programs to prepare participants for specific careers. It may include on-the-job training through an apprenticeship or other work-sponsored learning position.

While not all jobs in the United States require a college degree, virtually all of them require some post-secondary preparation. By the year 2031, 73% of all jobs in the United States of America will require some training or education beyond high school.

This directory is intended to provide an overview of career training programs in Northern Kentucky. It does not cover programs that lead to an associate degree or beyond. It does not include every program available but highlights programs approved through the Kentucky Eligible Training Provider List. This means there may be some funding support available to those who qualify.
